"My name is Amine SI YOUCEF, the IoT project lead at Kirrk. As a member of Kirrk’steam since 2021, I am responsible for the vehicle connectivity."
Can you describe your job ?
"IoT, or Internet of Things, is a field that integrates information technology,electronics, and telecommunications. This involves the conception and arrangementof electronic systems and IT that can communicate with each other and with anyother system that is connected to a network.The Internet of Things can revolutionize the mobility sector by providing solutionsthat give more control over fleets through remote and at-all-time accessibility tovehicles."
What studies did you do to prepare for this job ?
"After having obtained a baccalaureate in science, I studied in a preparatory classfor two years in science and technology, followed by a training program aselectronics engineer at the École Polytechnique. Then, I completed a Master 2 inembedded systems and information processing at Paris-Saclay University tospecialize in IoT."
Describe your motivation for working in this industry ?
"Electronics and computers have always been my passion. Having studied in thisdirection, I finally opted for the Internet of things. This combines the two previousfields with telecommunications to offer limitless possibilities. The application of IoTto the automotive industry is a topic of future interest, and I am very attached to it -given the many economic and ecological concerns this raises. "

How do you imagine the mobility in a few years? What can you do in yourjob to contribute to the development of mobility ?
"Mobility has evolved a lot in the last few years, and I think it will continue to evolveeven faster in the years to come.Through the use of IoT, mobility is being pushed to the next level and is leading tonew features that are revolutionizing the market.By implementing IoT products from car manufacturers, we will soon be able tocontrol a vehicle in a much more flexible and reliable way.Security of data exchanges between vehicle and user will also be a key concern towhich manufacturers will certainly pay more attention."
